Thank you for your interest in our Scholarship Program. We recognize that the cost of extracurricular art classes can be prohibitive and are pleased to be able to offer scholarships for our arts programming to those in need.

Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of The RiverArts Kristeen Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Arts Westchester, and individual private donations.

Scholarships are awarded based on need, with preference given to those families who might not otherwise be able to afford arts classes. The size of each scholarship awarded will be determined based on the amount of scholarship funds available.

All information in the application is held in the strictest confidence. The RiverArts Managing Director is the only person who will see your application. Personally-identifiable information will be deleted before members of the Scholarship Committee review it. This will help ensure that scholarships are awarded in a fair and equitable manner.

The Committee will meet 4 weeks prior to the beginning of camps or classes to award the scholarships and families will be notified of the scholarship amount two weeks prior to the start date of the arts program.

We hope that through this process we will be able to make your child’s desire to participate in our art programming a financial possibility for your family. Thank you for your interest!

If you have any questions about the camps, classes, or scholarship process, please contact Managing Director, Josh Suniewick at jsuniewick@riverarts.org
