The second installment in the new Channels music concert series features Evan Chapman, a Philadelphia based percussionist, composer, and filmmaker who has built a prolific and unique career by seamlessly blending multimedia and contemporary music.
Join us for our an afternoon of strings in the second concert of our 2023-2024 Chamber Music Series. This program will feature two of Mozart’s great string quintets, No. 3 in C Major K. 515 and No. 4 in g minor K. 516, along with String Circle by Kenji Bunch and Jessie Montgomery’s Strum.
The third installment in the new Channels music concert series features Steph Davis, marimbist, arranger, composer, Africana studies scholar, and cultural activist whose work engages people, traditions, and technologies of the African diaspora as means for uncovering truthful historiographies, finding creative self-actualization, and reaching for collective liberation.
Join us for the final concert of our 2023-2024 Chamber Music Series. This program will feature compositions by Franz Schubert and the world premiere of a commission by composer Nilo Acala.
In its 9th year, the RiverArts Music Tour will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, throughout the Rivertown villages of Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, and Tarrytown. This event is free and open to the public.

Led by Kofi Donkor, Sankofa Drum Circle will take students on a journey through the rhythmic and oral tradition of West African drumming and culture. Sankofa means “going back to the roots” in the Twi language from Ghana. The spirit of Sankofa, and this class, is to promote personal and community awareness through this art form steeped in West African cultural values and tradition.
