Annual Chamber Music Fundraiser Hosted by The Newington-Cropsey Foundation

RiverArts® is proud to announce the return of their Chamber Music series. The first concert of the year will be the annual fundraiser hosted by the Newington-Cropsey Foundation in Hastings-on-Hudson. The concert will feature Arnold Schönberg’s late romantic masterpiece, Verklärte Nacht [1899] in its original version for string sextet. Also on the program will be Richard Strauss’ Piano Quartet [1886].

Studio Tour Returns | The Rivertowns Enterprise

The RiverArts Studio Tour is returning on Saturday, Oct. 23 after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This marks the first time the Studio Tour, which invites the public into artists’ workspaces, is taking place in the fall rather than in April, as has been the annual tradition. More than 70 artists from Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Irvington, and Tarrytown are participating.

In our ongoing effort to connect local artists with art lovers we are proud to present our nextRiverArts Artist Conversation with sculptor, Malcolm D. MacDougall III live and in-person at his studio on the Dobbs Ferry waterfront on Sunday October 17th at 3pm.“ We are thrilled to have another wonderful opportunity to gather this great community of artappreciators together to learn about this incredible local artist’s perspectives and process,”said Artist Conversation Producer, Marie-Louise Miller.
