About Us
RiverArts was built by volunteers. That long-held tradition of service continues to strengthen the organization today, as dedicated volunteers from across the Rivertowns lend their time and talents to our mission.
RiverArts runs on the power of art. A dedicated team of professionals keeps the engines running as we bring our programs to life 365 days of every year.
RiverArts Presents Stravinsky, Brahms, and Commissioned Chamber Version of Strauss’ Four Last Songs
RiverArts will present a compelling program for its next Chamber Music concert, including Igor Stravinsky’s playful Chamber Suite from A Solder’s Tale, Brahms’ lyrically soaring Clarinet Trio, and the world premiere of a specially commissioned chamber version of Strauss’ monumental Four Last Songs.
At the Intersection of Appalachia and Himalaya | The Bluegrass Standard
It might seem odd to compare the folkways of Appalachia to the culture of the Himalayas, but to music teacher Tara Linhardt, these mountain communities aren’t such strange bedfellows. Some similarities are apparent while others are more obscure, and this bluegrass musician first discovered the commonalities and disparities while traveling abroad during college.
Award Winner | IMPRINT OF LIGHT
Congratulations to IMPRINT OF LIGHT for winning Best Spiritual/Mystical Film in the Amsterdam International Film Festival 2021. RiverArts was proud to debut “Imprint of Light,” a dance, music & video collaboration that was broadcast in May. “Imprint of Light” is a magical journey within the imagination, toward the illumination of the human spirit and its relationship to the 4 elements of the earth.
