As we deepen into fall, we are reminded of a few constants: the rustle of the leaves, the crisp air and blue sky, and the exuberant beginnings of RiverArts’ programming season. On September 20, we welcomed the incredible technical and artistic skill of Jose Limón Dance Company, where nearly 500 guests joined us to witness their dancers vault across the stage in a whirl of ecstatic color. One guest, new to the area, said “I’ve been to many [dance] performances, but this was the first time I’ve experienced such warmth from an audience. At intermission, people sought each other out, exchanged hugs and hellos, and they seemed to really know each other. It was amazing to see wonderful dance and true community all in one night.”

- Access to affordable musical engagements spanning genres classical to jazz to bluegrass and more, in our Channels and Chamber Music series
- Up-and-coming playwrights the chance to workshop their new developments with trained actors in front of an engaged audience
- Partnerships with local galleries, businesses, and venues to collaborate and present inspiring programs for all audiences
