Presenting singer/songwriters Ursula Hansberry and John Henry.
Ursula Hansberry
Singer + Songwriter
Ursula Hansberry is an emerging singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Hudson Valley. She has played extensively throughout the rivertowns, most recently at the Studio in the Tarrytown Music Hall. With seven years of songwriting under her belt, her music is heartfelt, sassy, and sexy.
John Henry
Singer + Songwriter
From the wilds of Northern Westchester comes John Henry (Olthoff), who, when not busy suing the New York City Department of Education on behalf of disabled children, puts on pants and sings sad songs to laugh at for beer snobs, hippies, and toddlers, locally and in his basement. John Henry has released some albums, including Buick Skylark (2007), Godless Country (2008), Living in Me (2010), and Selfish Portraits (2011), all of which have songs on them. If you can lower your standards, and your expectations, just enough, you may find that you are also hard to love while driving your rusted Chevy through the window of the gas station store, staring at the same old sun until it hurts like learning that your mother never loved you.
