Friends, family, artists, and collaborators celebrated the achievements of RiverArts’ former executive and artistic director during “Up Close & Virtual: Honoring Doug Coe,” on Saturday, April 24th.

RiverArts helps artists put out ‘live’ welcome mat

Starting this weekend, however, RiverArts will resume Salon Sundays, through which artists will use Instagram Live to welcome viewers virtually.

The first of six Salon Sundays, on April 11 at 3 p.m., will feature Monica Carrier of Tarrytown and Jane Kang Lawrence of Sleepy Hollow, the co-owners of Peep Space, an art gallery located at 92 Central Avenue in Tarrytown.“

Founded by artists in the village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, in 1963, RiverArts has been making the arts a part of everyday life in Westchester’s Hudson River communities for more than 50 years. Today, our programs and performances reach more than 20,000 people annually.
