Seasons usually consist of three concerts\, one being a gala hosted by The Newington-Cropsey Foundation. The season’s final concert [April 22\, 2023] will feature a complete performance of Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat along with Rachmaninov’s great Cello Sonata.

What brings the quartet together? A shared love of World music\, a belief in the power of music—especially percussion—to change lives\, and a desire to bring beauty and light to the world. \n8:50 pm Jeanne Velonis: Accordion\, classical\, folk\, Western “early music” \nAccordionist\, Jeanne Velonis specializes in contemporary-classical music\, folk music\, Western “early music”\, and the intersections of all these.  She is a member is the Bachtopus Accordion Ensemble\, a quartet whose foci are music by living composers and by J.S. Bach. \nJeanne made her performance debut on the accordion as part of a large ensemble created by the Kronos Quartet to perform Terry Riley’s “In C” at Carnegie Hall.  \n \n			\n				Tickets for March Performance
