The fresh sound of the group combines Pablo’s in-depth study of the rhythms of the Caribbean and the music of his native country of Colombia\, with an extensive background in jazz composition ranging from trio to big band.  The ensemble features the long-standing rhythm section of the renowned Folklore Urbano Orchestra: Franco Pinna on drum set and Dave Hertzberg on bass. Franco Pinna brings a sensitivity\, groove\, and unique sound that comes from his highly innovative set-up\, combining multi-cultural sounds from a variety of percussion instruments. Dave Hertzberg brings a deep musicality\, swing\, and versatility ranging from his experience with everything from Cuban timba to klezmer and bluegrass.
