Choreographer/Dancer Maxine Sherman and Composer/Videographer Steven Brent collaborate in this new work weaving dance\, music and layered imagery to create an innovative experience at the cutting edge of performance art and film. \nImprint of Light is a magical journey within the imagination\, toward the illumination of the human spirit and its relationship to the 4 elements of the earth. Sometimes mesmerizing\, hypnotic and funny we all curiously travel to unknown places in the vehicle of our own body. We might land on familiar shores\, but a mischievous impulse gives us a 360 degree view of new light. \nThere was a Zoom broadcast of the video on Saturday May 8th at 8pm followed by a live Q&A session with both artists. DESCRIPTION:Be part of our virtual open mic community!\n			\n				Register for Open Mic Night\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Spring Cleaning.Finding new life in songs we have forgotten.\nPlease join RiverArts Music Tour Producer Adam Hart for the third of three virtual open mic nights this Spring! Come to hang\, listen\, and perform if you are a professional or just like to play — just come to be part of this supportive and welcoming community of local musicians and music lovers! \nSpectators must also register for access to this event. Bring a friend or two and enjoy some music by your creative neighbors! \nRULES\nThe registration deadline is 7:30 PM EDT on the date of the open mic of your choice. You’ll have an opportunity to play two songs in a “circle of song” Zoom format (we’ll perform around the Zoom grid). \nWe welcome musicians performing all genres. Originals and covers are both welcome.
