Patricia’s work as an illustrator and designer depicts colorful, chic environments enlivened by fashion, active lifestyles, and whimsical pets. Recognized on social media as PVE, she markets through Etsy online, in person to clients, and at the RiverArts Studio Tour. As the blog on her website suggests, she enjoys bringing a sense of elegance and abundance to any gathering or event. Her gift for finding art in life infuses her participation at RiverArts.
PVE has produced commissioned art for clients that include The Princess Grace Foundation, The Park Avenue Fund, J. McLaughlin, Secrets Gourmet, and Lava Barre. Her strong business sense has its origin in Louisville, Kentucky, where she grew up in a family she describes as “talented and entrepreneurial.” After training at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture and Arts, her success as a designer and design director for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Liz Claiborne brands became her passport to travel the world.
Besides producing commissioned assignments, PVE Design provides personalized consultation for clients in social media training, art lessons, and coaching for entrepreneurs and artists. She is committed to nurturing public interest and support for the arts.
“The two most worthwhile things we leave behind are children and art!”
