Christina Ha can be seen weekly on the Emmy-nominated PBS show “NYC Arts,” a guide to the New York arts and culture scene. An experienced television journalist in entertainment, fashion, lifestyle and the arts, she has written, produced and hosted national programs featuring artists, designers and cultural icons from around the world.
As moderator for the RiverArts series “Conversations with Artists,” she expertly facilitates interviews that encourage artists to bring the audience inside their creative process. In the informal and warm environment that she creates, guests reveal what has influenced their art, where their joy resides, what challenges they have overcome, and the life journeys that have brought them to where they are.
Prior to joining PBS, Christina co-hosted the award-winning “Full Frontal Fashion,” seen on the Ultra/Voom HD channels. She has also worked as a reporter for Metro Channel,
New York 1 News, MTV Asia and E!. Her work on culinary happenings garnered a prestigious James Beard Award nod for Best Local TV Food Reporting.
She lives in the Rivertowns with her husband, WABC-TV reporter Marcus Solis, and their two children whose music education journeys began and continue with RiverArts.
