Bruce Jonas | Vice President • Marcom Committee Chair

bruceAs vice president of RiverArts, Bruce brings the long view to strategy with a detailed focus on communications and marketing. As founder and executive creative director of Rooftop Partners, Bruce works 360 degrees across platforms including traditional advertising, digital and direct marketing, social media, CRM, and more. He’s reached across diverse markets and audiences to create brand communications for nonprofit and for-profit clients including Foundation Center, T-Mobile, American Express, Heckscher Foundation, and the China National Tourist Office.

Bruce’s enthusiasm for communicating creatively goes back to (and beyond) his days writing and presenting gallery talks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on his first love: Renaissance and Baroque Italian art. His dual A.B. in History of Art and Classics from Brown University, and his M.A. in the History of Art from Johns Hopkins, inform his perspective and life of involvement with the arts.
